Job Summary
The Hammoud Laboratory in the Department of Human Genetics at the University of Michigan Medical School is seeking to bring on a temporary Research Assistant over the summer to assist with ZCWPW1 Organizes Telomeric Architecture to Drive Meiotic Chromosome Movements. The selected individuals would work up to 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities*
- Complete appropriate lab safety training
- Follow all instructions as directed by the PI, Lab Manager or Senior Postdoc in the lab
- Complete experiments to examine the role of ZCWPW1 in oocytes
- Record data clearly in a lab notebook
- Share recorded data with PI
Required Qualifications*
- PhD Degree
- Experience Working with the ZCWPW1 gene
- Able to work well independently and as a group
- Strong written communication skills
