Responsibilities*
Cover voice studio for fall term: Teach voice lessons (16.5 hours/wk), freshman through doctoral levels in Voice Performance, as well as undergraduates in Choral Music Education. Lead weekly studio class (1.5 hours/wk).

Required Qualifications*
Tenor; Extensive performance experience at the highest professional level, in opera, oratorio, concert and recital repertoire
Proven effectiveness and documented track record as an applied voice teacher at institutions of higher education
An outstanding artist and pedagogue with a thorough knowledge of opera, oratorio, musical theatre, and concert literature.
Applicants whose professional activity has centered mainly on performance must demonstrate expertise and experience in teaching by having presented master classes, maintained a private studio, or served as guest faculty members at institutions of higher education.
Demonstrate proficiency in German, Italian, Latin, French and English.
Piano proficiency
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar; OpenOffice; Zoom preferred.
Modes of Work
This position will be required to be on campus for all lessons.
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.
