Responsibilities*
The University of Michigan, School of Nursing is currently seeking a Research Assistant to assist to support a faculty team on a grant funded project to: (1) devlop and implement a unified clinical comptetency framework across four NP specialty programs, including explicit clinical hour requirements, mapped to national Comptency-Based Education standards, and embedded in program syllabi and clinical guidelines; (2) pilot and evaluate a revised comptency based clinical rotation model with NP students.
The specific duties of the position include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with a literature review
- Recruitment & outreach for focus groups
- Communication with study participants
- Scheduling focus groups
- General administrative support of the project, data collection, analysis, and dissemination
Required Qualifications*
Applicants must be a current graduate student, preferably in nursing or other health related discipline. The student must be available for regular meetings (in person or virtual). The student should exhibit attention to detail, an interest in research, an ability to work independently and a willingness to learn more about the process for professional scholarly writing for publication.
