Job Summary
The Kleer laboratory is seeking a research technician with basic experience in a biology field (e.g., molecular biology, cell biology, bioengineering). The primary role will be to conduct breast cancer research in a specialized research laboratory. The candidate will assist more senior laboratory personnel with their tasks. This position is an excellent opportunity to work in a collegial, collaborative cancer translational environment and is especially suitable for a candidate who aspires to make a significant contribution to the breast cancer research field.
Responsibilities*
Reviews progress and evaluates results under direct supervision of more senior lab personnel. Collaborates with other lab members as needed.
Conducts analysis of data, interprets and implements research methodology based on outcome of analysis.
Organizes, condenses, and presents findings at laboratory meetings.
Aids with manuscript writing.
Required Qualifications*
High school diploma
Some upper-level college courses, including statistics
Previous experience working in a laboratory environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient in the Microsoft office suite
Ability to work as a team player, with a positive attitude
Desired Qualifications*
Bachelor's degree or advanced college studies in biology, or a related biological field
Experience in molecular biology
Senior college students or students taking a gap year

Background Screening
