Job Summary

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan is seeking a PhD level faculty member to collaborate with the Pelvic Floor Research Group.  This position will be dry, without effort for research collaboration only.    

Required Qualifications*

PhD required along with three or more years of postdoctoral training in a Women's Health related field. Must have a demonstrated clinical interest in pelvic floor disorders including pelvic floor organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and surface electromyography. 

A history of participation on funded studies is required.

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses. Employment will require both a criminal background check and an institutional reference check regarding any misconduct. Candidates will be required to submit a self-disclosure form as well as an authorization to release information form.
