Responsibilities*
Gathers, analyzes, and interprets a wide variety of data. Selects data samples, prepares questionnaires, and analyzes collected information according to established statistical methods. Prepares reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids. Assignments necessitate advanced knowledge. Employees typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority include:
? Builds study databases for complex longitudinal data collection or coded data on multiple projects, such as with REDCap
? Trains lower-level personnel on data processing tasks, monitors their progress and data integrity
? Mentors undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and junior researchers on statistical analysis, data processing, and writing of analytic plans/manuscripts for their projects
? Contributes to scientific papers by creating charts, graphs, and tables of research data; explains data analysis and methods in plain text for manuscripts
? Works alongside Principal Investigator to develop study methods, data analysis plans, and pilot test data streams for new research projects
? Lead the development and analysis of mobile device data streams, including cleaning, reduction, and variable creation
? Lead collaboration with partner labs that analyze mobile device data to synergize methods
Required Qualifications*
Required to have a minimum of a Bachelor degree in a recognized field of science or learning which is directly related to the duties of the position.

5+ Years of Experience
Masters or PhD Preferred
