Job Summary
The IT Temp supports day-to-day IT operations, including access administration, software license tracking, security controls, reporting, documentation, and request coordination. This role helps ensure proper record keeping, follows established policies and procedures, liaises with IT service providers to resolve issues, and may assist with DNS and WordPress administration as needed.
Responsibilities*
- Tracks, organizes, documents, analyses, and evaluates information systems usage and access and provides technical direction and recommendations to improve utilization and compliance.
- Controls system access and permissions, achieving appropriate empowerment of staff to conduct business critical activities while maintaining necessary controls. Conducts regular system access audits. Track and performs system on-boarding and off-boarding activities.
- Administration of information services such as DNS, Cloudflare, Microsoft Business 365, SharePoint, Teams, WordPress, HubSpot, storage, and more, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed and proper record keeping and logging are maintained.
- Provide other support to the Information Technology department as needed.
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in information technology field or equivalent work experience
- Detail-oriented
- Highly motivated
- Excellent customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft excel, including intermediate to advanced skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Operating effectively in a busy office environment
- Managing multiple projects
Desired Qualifications*
- Knowledge of Microsoft Business 365 applications or Google Workspace Suite
- Familiarity with IT security frameworks
- Familiar with University of Michigan policies and procedures
- Familiarity with Role Based Access Controls

Work Locations
Michigan Language Assessment is seeking candidates located in or around Ann Arbor and supports a fully remote work from home schedule with occasionally scheduled in person activities.
