Job Summary
The University of Michigan-Flint Department of Fine & Performing Arts seeks energetic, detail oriented students for employment in the department's costume shop. The costume shop is responsible for building garments for the University's main stage productions. Students must be able to reliably work at least 8 hours a week and be able to assist with costume cataloguing and stocking

Responsibilities*
- Hand sewing and machine stitching.
- Work with costume crafts including: puppets, hats, jewelry, and dye work.
- Restocking costume pieces after the run of a production.
- Pulling costume pieces needed for productions.
- Identifying and cataloging clothing pieces in our database system.
Required Qualifications*
- UM-Flint student
- Experience with sewing and using a sewing machine
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Desired Qualifications*
- Cosplay armor experience
- Work-study
Background Screening
