Jen Sullivan
Department of Psychiatry Faculty Affairs Manager
Job Summary
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan is seeking a full-time, instructional track psychiatrist to lead a brain stimulation program, focusing on bipolar and mood disorders.
The ideal candidate for this position will be leading a clinical research program with non-invasive brain stimulation. The program will be a component of the Prechter Bipolar program, which is a longstanding clinical research program in the Department of Psychiatry. In addition to seeking funding for and carrying out research on brain stimulation, it is expected that the candidate will also direct clinical, FDA-cleared brain stimulation for depression. The candidate will be expected to have already established a robust research footprint in non-invasive brain stimulation, and is ready to move to a leadership position in a unique environment. A generous package of resources will be provided.
The U-M Department of Psychiatry involves more than 170 faculty, robust research programs, busy general and subspecialized clinical programs, and clinical and research training opportunities. The environment at the University of Michigan provides fertile grounds for collaborations in biomedical engineering, AI/data sciences, psychology, neurology and functional brain imaging.
