Job Summary

Provide part-time administrative support for daily office work. This may include communication with staff, students or faculty, daily office upkeep, open office hours, event planning and support, data research and tracking.

Responsibilities*

  • Upkeep of spreadsheets and documents
  • Data tracking before, during and after meetings, programming and events
  • Availability during office hours
  • Assisting guests in the office
  • Event planning and support
  • Creative and strategic planning for promotion of INSPIRE programs and events
  • Supporting the INSPIRE student scholar programming or career prep programming as needed

Required Qualifications*

  • Current undergraduate student at the University of Michigan-Flint
  • Proficiency with Google Suite
  • Must be willing to support INSPIRE events as needed
  • Must be active or in support of career readiness programming
  • Must be willing to work collaboratively with the INSPIRE team
  • Must be willing and have availability to work onsite in the INSPIRE office
  • Must have the following qualities: great attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, time management skills, responsible, and coachable

Modes of Work

Onsite
The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence.  Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan

Background Screening
