Responsibilities*
- Performing experiments using primary cell cultures of cardiac muscle cells
- Performing fluorescence microscopy on live and fixed specimens.
- Managing and genotyping mouse colonies and other lab management duties.
- Summarizing data and performing statistical analysis.
Required Qualifications*
Associate Level
- B.S. or B.A. degree in a relevant biological science, for example, Biology, Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Neuroscience, Life Science or related disciplines.
- Must have excellent record-keeping skills and a good sense of logistics.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work in a team project environment and strong intrapersonal skills.
Intermediate Level
- B.S. or B.A. degree in a relevant biological science, for example, Biology, Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Neuroscience, Life Science or related disciplines.
- 1-3 years of experience with wet laboratory experience and/or imaging data analysis and software.
- Must have excellent record-keeping skills and experience with large databases
- Strong work ethic, ability to work in a team project environment and strong intrapersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications*
Associate Level
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting as an undergraduate student.
- Interest in pursuing a career in research will be considered as a plus.
Intermediate Level
- All the above plus, Experience with laboratory animal handling.
Work Schedule
M-F days with some nights and weekends

Background Screening
