Hourly range for Registered Nurses $40.18-$62.31/ hour
- Evening Shift Differential-$3.00 / hour
- Night Shift Differential- $4.00 / hour

Responsibilities*
- Provide the delivery of culturally sensitive, age-specific team-based care models in delivering nursing care for Primary Care patients including, adult medicine, pediatric, and OB/GYN patient populations.
- Perform phone triage, including assessment, screening, clinical advice, nurse visits (in person/ video visit) in-clinic hands on procedures, and other duties assigned.
- Accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care.
- Knowledge and appropriate use of internal and external resources.
- Provide functional supervision to assistive personnel; collaborate with colleagues, other disciplines, and health care/community services to promote continuity of care.

Nursing Specific Info
Salary & Nursing Framework Level:
This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C.
Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F.
Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position. Posting may be filled after the initial 5-day posting period. Applicants who have left the UMPNC bargaining unit must include on their resume dates of past employment including months and years of service along with effort. Positions less than 20 hours/week may be combined.

Required Qualifications*
- Three (3) yrs. current (in the last 5 years) RN experience in Adult Internal Medicine (to include Adult Inpatient, or Adult Emergency Services, or Ambulatory Care Medicine Adult).
- Five (5) years experience as an RN
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Experience working with OB patients

- BSN
- RN experience with Phone Triage in an ambulatory care setting

- Certification in Ambulatory Nursing
Work Schedule
- Hours/Week: 40 hrs
- Shift/Hours/Days: Day Shift; Mon-Fri, includes Saturdays. Hours may be variable (nontraditional including further weekends/holidays commitment) based on patient and volume need
- Location: West Ann Arbor Health Center with potential to work in other locations with expansion of division.

Union Affiliation
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Michigan Nurses Association and the U-M Professional Nurse Council union, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
