Job Summary
The University Supervisor will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting students earning their Master?s in Applied Behavior Analysis during their practicum experience: EDFP 507/ABA II Practicum (1cr)
This course seeks to provide students with practical experience in the application of the principles of behavior to multiple areas of investigation and practice. Developing programs for behavior acquisition and behavior reduction are addressed as well as integrating strategies to promote generalization and maintenance. Attention is paid to the implications of individual needs, perspectives, and differences on intervention planning. Concurrent enrollment in Applied Behavior Analysis II is required.
The supervisor will:
- fulfill the position of Instructor of Record for ABA II Practicum (includes regular individual and group meetings with students, supervision, and evaluation of all assignments, and clinical site visits)
- coordinate clinical experience assignments with the instructor of record for the following methods course: ABA II.
- visit clinical experience sites for all students 3x/semester in-person and virtually using Zoom and GoReact
- coordinate practicum responsibilities with the supervising BCBA/clinical director at each student's clinical experience site
- provide regular support and advice throughout the semester, and
- manage issues and concerns that arise with students during their placement.

Required Qualifications*
The position requires that the candidate have a master's or doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a closely related field and experience teaching ABA. Candidates must also have:
- certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- demonstrate strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis.
