Job Summary
The University of Michigan, Department of Internal Medicine is a seeking board certified/eligible candidate for a faculty position in the Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology & Diabetes.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in patient care and teaching in our expanding Academic Medicine Group.
Duties include teaching, providing direct patient care, and involvement in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Required Qualifications*
The ideal candidate should have an M.D. or D.O. degree and postgraduate clinical training. They should hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical license in the State of Michigan as well as be board certified or board eligible. Candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with other clinicians. Excellent communication skills are essential. Evidence of clinical competence and didactic teaching is expected.
Prior training or clinical experience at a major academic medical center is preferred.
