Job Summary
The Student Services Assistant acts as the primary coordinator for Outreach Programming, and serves in support of the Undergraduate and Graduate Programs, including overall support for Student Services and Departmental needs. The SSA serves as the main point of contact for inquiries in the front office, coordinating the Student Services main office affairs.

Responsibilities*
Program Management:
- REU (summer undergrad student research fellowship)
- Department Academic Support Programs (Tutoring Programs, Study Groups, etc)
Undergraduate and Graduate Program Support:
- Assist with outreach, recruiting, event planning, and coordination.
- Course coordination: (time schedule, textbook management, data entry)
- Order supplies and promotional materials.
General Departmental Support:
- Assist walk-in traffic & triage as necessary
- Monitor grade entry at the end of each term
- Order mid-term & final course evaluations.
- Coordinate room reservations for departmental rooms.
- Coordinate student services equipment loans (projectors, laser pointers, etc.).
Required Qualifications*
- High school diploma or equivalent and 2 to 4 years of administrative experience
- Attention to detail and superior organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide range of people
- Key attributes that will define success in this role include, self-initiative, confidentiality, sound judgment, ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
Modes of Work

Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $39,300 to $49,100. Salary is determined by direct relevant experience and demonstrated past performance results while ensuring equity on our team.
