Job Summary
A faculty position is available for a Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist with strong interest and skills in teaching and patient care. The rank of this position will be dependent on experience. Responsibilities will include clinical care of pediatric Hematology, Oncology and pediatric BMT patients. Responsibilities will also include sharing inpatient and outpatient coverage with other Pediatric Hematologist Oncologists, teaching medical students and residents, clinical supervision of nurses and other allied health providers and involvement in clinical trials in oncology.
Required Qualifications*
Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree, must have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, be board certified in Pediatrics and board certified/eligible Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and be eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan. Proven excellence in clinical care and teaching is required.
