Responsibilities*
- Assist in the design and execution of experiments to further research progress
- Develop and implement new techniques and protocols through literature searches and independent work
- Collaborate with colleagues, PI, and supervisors to develop and achieve short and long-term goals/initiatives
- Assist in the training of students and colleagues
- Helping with EML4-ALK ASOs
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted, including relevant undergraduate and graduate student experience
Desired Qualifications*
Bachelor's degree in a life science discipline and 1-2 years of relevant research experience in a research lab is preferred. Experience with tissue culture techniques, fluorescence microscopy, and
standard molecular biology techniques (e.g. PCR, recombinant DNA cloning, etc.) is also preferred.

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
