Course Description
Advanced concepts and modern trends in design of bridges. Rehabilitation, repair and retrofit of existing bridges. Use of relevant codes. Study of alternative structural forms and materials for efficiency and economy. Design problems and reports.
Responsibilities*
Civil and Environmental Engineering seeks one applicant to teach CEE 516, in Fall term 2025 (August 25, - Dec 31, 2025). The class is scheduled to meet in-person Tues/Thurs, 9:00-10:30 am, Rm TBD. The position will be 0.30 FTE (30% effort) and requires the lecturer be responsible for teaching students the subject titled Bridge Structures.
Required Qualifications*
A master's degree, or equivalent education and experience, in Civil Engineering is required. PhD in Civil Engineering preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience and knowledge of the university policies and procedures.
