Responsibilities*

Investigate the molecular mechanisms of basal cell carcinoma (BCC) progression and treatment; utilize a combination of mouse models, in vitro studies, sophisticated drug screening approaches, and bioinformatics; use relevant techniques such as immunohistochemistry, Western blot, RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, high throughput drug screening, and analysis of RNA sequencing data (single cell and spatial); prepare manuscripts and grant applications; and present findings at scientific meetings.

Required Qualifications*

Requires PhD degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Cell Biology or closely related field + 2 years of experience: investigating how cells assume control of the gene expression system to alter intracellular and extracellular environments and conducting cell sorting from dissected animal tissues for RNA-seq and ChIP-seq sample processing followed by bioinformatic analysis using R language + Publication of one first-author peer-reviewed professional journal article focused on regulation of cancer formation in response to anti-cancer drugs.
