The College of Education, Health, and Human Services has an opening for a Research Assistant (temporary).
The Department of Health & Human Services seeks a current advanced undergraduate student to support a community-academic research project, Climate Adaptation in the Midwest: Learning from Immigrants and Refugees. We are seeking a student to assist with documentation of climate stories with immigrant and refugee community about climate adaptation at the family, community, and policy level. Students will support planning and coordination of meetings and help to develop products for diverse audiences. They will work with a community academic team, including leaders at Until Justice Data Partners.

- Collaborate with community, academic, and non-profit partners
- Develop public-facing reports, media, infographics or other materials for diverse audiences to support education, advocacy, and outreach related to climate adaptation
Required Qualifications*
- Status as a current undergraduate student at the University of Michigan - Dearborn
- Ability to work independently with accountability to project goals and timeline, with open communication when barriers arise
- Knowledge of or interest in learning about climate and environmental justice
- Cultural humility and an interest in learning from diverse communities
