Job Summary
The candidate will assist with research in analyzing and modeling human EEG data for epilepsy. Their primary responsibility will be managing and sharing a database with other labs. They will assist members of the labs in collecting, analyzing, and processing research data. They will develop a novel computational model of seizure dynamics and compare the data with human seizures.

Responsibilities*
With oversight by Dr. William Stacey, the primary responsibilities of this position are to 1) manage a local database and oversee sharing it with other labs; 2) develop models of seizure dynamics and machine learning tools to classify them; 3) assist with other projects in the lab to search for new methods to identify abnormal EEG signals associated with epilepsy. Additional responsibilities include developing familiarity with relevant scientific literature and participation in the development of the best experimental approaches to pursue the scientific goals. The candidate will primarily be using computers to perform work duties. The candidate will be expected to assist in writing manuscripts, primarily by generation of figures and plots.
Required Qualifications*
- High school diploma or Associate's degree and 1 year of experience
- The candidate should be skilled in computer programming and Matlab.

Background Screening
