Job Summary
Serve as a grader for graduate level computer science/computer information systems course(s). Follow the directions of the instructor for grading and recording assessments within the timeframe specified.
Responsibilities*
Objective grading and the recording of student assessments as directed by the course instructor, following the instructor's prescribed methods and required response time. This position will not involve instruction, subjective grading, mentoring, or tutoring.
Required Qualifications*
- Must be a current UM-Flint Grad Student
- Must have successfully completed CSC 535 Advanced Computer Networking or equivalent
- Must be well organized and reliable
Desired Qualifications*
- Ability to be responsive to the needs of the instructor in terms of reliability, communication, accuracy, and timeliness
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix, virtual machines, and docker containerization a plus
- Prior experience in academia as a grader, TA, RA, etc. is preferred
Modes of Work
Hybrid
The work requirements allow both onsite and offsite work and an employee has an expected recurring onsite presence. On occasion, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements.

Background Screening
