Responsibilities*
This is a newly created Assistant Research Scientist position that will have the following anticipated responsibilities:
Lead the Prediction Group within the Center for Prediction, Reasoning and Intelligence for Multiphysics Exploration (C-Prime) and manage the chemical propulsion component of the SPAR center.
45% Manage prediction group within C-Prime
45% Manage propulsion targets in SPAR
Both responsibilities require independent research, mentoring of students, and interacting with sponsors.
5% proposal grant writing
Required Qualifications*
- Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering
- Funding source requires U.S. citizenship
- A minimum of one year postdoctoral research experience conducting research in high fidelity simulations.
