The Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design is looking for an experienced Audio/Visual Studio Coordinator to provide technical support, administrative oversight, maintenance, and organization of assigned studios, checkout center, and instructional environments. You will support Stamps video art and audio production, projection, animation, and photography programs while providing consultation for student exhibitions and creative projects. You will report to the Studio Coordinator 2D Supervisor.

Responsibilities*
Technical / Instructional Support
- Oversee daily operations of studio and instructional areas.
- Prepare spaces for faculty/student use; support classroom demos.
- Provide technical guidance in audio/visual systems for classes, exhibitions, and remote events.
- Collaborate with faculty and other coordinators to support interdisciplinary creative work and pedagogy.
Management and Oversight of Checkout Center and Studio Spaces
- Manage equipment checkout operations, inventory, and maintenance.
- Manage and train student workers.
- Maintain studio spaces, including safety procedures, purchasing, and policy development.
- Oversee budgets, supply usage, and ensure a safe, functional studio environment.
Special Projects
- Support school-wide events and programs.
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in audio/visual media, art/design or related field
- 1+ years of experience with studio processes and equipment maintenance
- 1+ years of experience with A/V production and photography
- 1+ years of demonstrated experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis on Premiere and After Effects
- Basic computer experience including spreadsheets, email, word processing, electronic calendaring
- Demonstrated commitment to facilitating a community of creative practitioners
