Job Summary
This job posting is for a Michigan Medicine Temporary position. September-December. Temporary employment may be full or part time but in either case, is limited to duration. Please note that this position does not qualify for Michigan Medicine benefits and specific terms and conditions of employment are negotiated at the department level.

Responsibilities*
- Assist with managing the supplies for the flu clinics.
- Assist with setting up tables, chairs, and laptops for the flu clinics.
- Assist with transporting supplies to the clinics both for onsite and offsite clinics.
- Manage patient flow during the clinics; hang signage for navigation where appropriate.
- Check in patients and verify demographics. Assist employees with Enterprise Health patient portal.
- Assist OHS Program Manager as needed.
- Hours vary upon the need of the flu clinics.
Other Related Duties:
- Complies with all Michigan Medicine and departmental standards and expectations.
- Supports the department?s commitment to continuous improvement activities and principles through positive and respectful contribution in all problem-solving and change processes.
Required Qualifications*
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 -2 years minimum data entry experience.
- Excellent attendance and customer service skills.
- Flexibility: Days and hours change upon the need of the flu clinics with some weekend clinics.
- Must be able to life 10 lbs. to assist with transporting supplies.
Desired Qualifications*
- Clerical experience with Occupational Health Software
- Experience with troubleshooting Microsoft Software
Modes of Work

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
