Job Summary

As the Print Lead, you will manage projects to produce and deploy primarily printed collateral ranging from donor impact reports, posters/signage, direct mail, postcards, flyers, brochures. You will serve as Ross Advancement's primary liaison with mailhouse vendors, and ensure all collateral meets accessibility requirements and brand standards.

About the Department

The Office of Advancement drives the fundraising and alumni relations activities of the Ross School of Business.

Responsibilities*

Project Management (50%) 

  • Manage projects through content creation, editing, proofing, quality assurance, and deployment phases.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to produce and deploy communications ranging from donor impact reports, posters/signage, and other print collateral.
  • Responsible for coordinating activities of project team, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project. 
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. 

Vendor Relations (20%) 

  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. 

Management (15%) 

  • Supervise Communications Manager 
  • Supervise Donor Relations Assistant 

Analytical Guidance (10%) 

  • Provides analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Analyze campaigns and recommend best practices, A/B testing, new trends in print marketing, etc. 

Administrative and Other (5%) 

  • Gather, record and properly store information about communications utilizing collaboration tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Experience 3-5 years working with vendors in a project management capacity (printhouse, mailing house)
  • Supervisory experience in a similar role, at least 1 year managing creatives
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Experience analyzing and providing guidance on print collateral/communications 
     

Working conditions / Physical requirements

  • Requires the ability to travel to various locations to conduct work and deliver materials 
  • The person in this position routinely moves through the facility to attend meetings/events and access files or information 
  • May require work during early mornings, nights, and/or weekends

Additional Information

Salary Information:

The posting range for this position is $81,000 - $104,600. This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range. Compensation decisions are based on the details of each situation.
