Supply/Stock Clerk Associate

The student selected for this position will assist the Inventory Control Clerk Senior for Facilities Operations with supplies and parts inventory, procurement, and office support. 

Locates stock and delivers requested items to authorized departments. Reviews order forms for proper coding, quantities requested, and authorized approvals. Ensures that deliveries are made to proper departments. Maintains established inventory levels by checking shelves and notifies supervisor at established reorder points, or prepares purchase orders. Stocks vendor deliveries in warehouse or supply room and checks that deliveries conform to purchase orders as to quantity and quality. Reports on spoilage and stock damage. Marks articles with identification codes. Contacts approved vendors to reorder supplies. May operate a personal computer and appropriate software packages or its equivalent. 0-2 years of experience in position. Applies basic skills and procedures appropriate for the position within assigned functional area. Duties and tasks are standardized. Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels. Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. 

The position requires a 10-20 hour per week commitment, with flexibility during final exams.

  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with aggregating and analyzing data using Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to learn AiM software for inventory.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Dedicated work ethic with the initiative to assist with a project and see it through to completion.
  • Collaborative spirit - experience working successfully in a team environment.
  • Consistently professional regarding communication, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Work-study Preferred
