Responsibilities*

Purpose:

As the Employee Relations Coordinator, you will manage the recruiting operations, logistics and guidance of MBA, MAcc, MSCM, MM, MBAn and BBA students. You will provide support for companies and students at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. You will report to the Employer Relations Manager. 


Responsibilities: 

Company Recruiting Operations and Logistics (50%) 

  • Manage the logistical and tactical support for on and off-campus recruiting activities to support over 4500 Michigan Ross students across seven different degree programs. 
  • Provide companies with benchmarking analysis (industry trends, recruiting policies and reviewing job descriptions/job titles) to strengthen their on-campus recruiting relationship.
  • Participate in the planning and knowledge sharing of recruitment practices and gather and present student feedback during company strategy meetings. 
  • Maintain and approve over 800 company recruiting activities and 5000 job schedules annually. 
     

Student Advising (35%)
 

  • Advise students on the on-campus interview process and how to approach and correspond with company recruiters. 
  • Answer all questions and act as the resident expert on the recruiting and advising system (12Twenty) for students and recruiters to ensure they can easily use the system for recruiting and coaching appointments. 
  • Represent CDO to current and visiting prospective students and student organizations 

Event, Communication, and Service Coordination (15%) 

  • Help implement student- and employer-facing services, which includes one of the following, depending on assignment: 
    • Career Fairs 
      • Manage logistics and implementation of multi-school interview 
        forums and career fairs. 
      • Represent Ross at career fairs 
      • Responsible for all student and recruiter promotional 
        communications 
    • Front Desk Staffing
      • Support efforts in hiring of front desk student temps
      • Onboard front desk student temps 
      • Prepare front desk work schedules. 
      • Approve student temp timecards
      • Oversee work assignments for front desk staff, coordinating with 
        CDO staff to ensure understanding on priorities 
    • Recruiter Communications 
      • Create content for recruiter newsletters by suggesting topics and 
        gathering ideas from Employer Relations staff, and authoring all 
        content. 
      • Design Recruiter newsletters in Mailchimp. 
      • Suggest and author content for the student newsletters; ensure 
        timely communication to the coaching team. 
    • Oversight of SalesTrack program 
      • Manage the logistical and tactical support for the SalesTrack 
        Program. 
      • Manage the logistical planning of the Sales Expo Career Fair. 
      • Create content for student newsletter in Mailchimp. 
         

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in a professional team setting, including working with key stakeholders, coordinating and planning events, and optimizing content.

Additional Information

Salary Information: 


The posting range for this position is $45,600 to $53,600. This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range. Compensation decisions are based on the details of each situation.
