Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced cardiovascular medicine researcher with a focus on exercise benefits, sex differences, and epigenetics in cardiovascular diseases. Successful applicant will be expected to establish a research program (either independent- or team science-based) and design and develop experiments; including scientific writing, and publishing and presenting results. Successful applicant will have the opportunity for academic advancement within a mentored research program. Opportunity for teaching students, lab personnel and fellows in a laboratory setting.
Required Qualifications*
Applicants should hold a PhD and/or MD, and have postdoctoral research experience in the area of cardiovascular medicine, with specific training in exercise benefits, sex differences, and epigenetics in cardiovascular diseases. Evidence of scholarly ability (e.g., record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, acquisition of external funding, and presentation experience) is expected.
