Job Summary
The Lead identifies project risks and mitigation strategies; apply change management methodologies; and oversees communication planning, organizational readiness assessments, and stakeholder engagement. The role develops and executes change, communication, and training plans and materials to ensure adoption while minimizing disruption to day-to-day operations.
Through a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, the Lead enhances operational efficiency, reduces denials and avoidable write-offs, and strengthens financial performance across a highly complex health system.

Responsibilities*
- Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives across the revenue cycle and impacted areas, identifying inefficiencies and designing sustainable, data-driven solutions.
- Facilitate and lead cross-functional workgroups to analyze current-state processes, define future-state workflows, and align on improvement opportunities.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource needs.
- Manage project execution to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities.
- Apply structured process improvement and change management methodologies to support adoption and long-term sustainability.
- Partner with operational, clinical, IT, and revenue cycle stakeholders to drive consensus and decision-making.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Translating complex processes and technology changes into clear, actionable plans for impacted teams.
- Track progress, outcomes, and performance metrics to support continuous improvement and leadership reporting.
- Lead meetings, workshops, and working sessions to maintain momentum, accountability, and engagement.
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelors degree in business administration or a related field required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience leading complex projects, process improvement initiatives, and organizational change.
- 4+ years experience in a leadership role in a healthcare environment.
- Quality, process improvement demonstrated proven experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma two or more years.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma certification.
- Demonstrated experience applying quality improvement methodologies to drive measurable operational and financial outcomes.
- Proven experience working within high-reliability organizations, with a focus on standardization, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated success partnering with hospital and health system leadership to lead change and drive adoption across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong, demonstrated experience in change management, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and adoption strategies.
- Ability to influence without authority and lead cross-functional teams in a complex healthcare environment.
Desired Qualifications*
- Masters degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations and end-to-end revenue cycle workflows.
- Experience with Epic, including revenue cycle related applications and workflows.
- Experience leading process improvement and change initiatives in a complex health system environment.

Background Screening
