Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Football Operations supports the day-to-day football player, practice, and game operations, helping ensure efficient execution of daily activities, competition, travel, and
postseason events. This role assists with logistics, roster operations, internal systems, facilities coordination, and stakeholder communication to support a high-performing football program. 

Responsibilities*

  • Assist in coordinating all practice, game, bowl, and fall camp operations, including scheduling, facilities, setup, and execution.
  • Support roster operations in collaboration with the Head Coach, General Manager, Recruiting, and Compliance staff.
  • Assist with team travel and logistics, including accommodations, transportation, meals, itineraries, and reimbursement processes.
  • Serve as a supporting liaison to nutrition, training, compliance, and dining services; assist with NCAA and compliance education initiatives.
  • Help manage internal communication and information systems, including calendars, databases, and file organization.
  • Assist with the administration of player financial aid, scholarships, and ticket distribution.
  • Support oversight of football facilities operations, including locker rooms and player spaces.
  • Assist in planning and executing team events, alumni engagement activities, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Coordinate and support onboarding and operational integration of new football staff.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach 
     

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 years of experience in college and/or professional athletics

Desired Qualifications*

  • Experience with Division I FBS Football
