Job Summary

The African and African American Studies Program is seeking a student research assistant for the Winter 2026 term. May be renewable for successive terms. Project that will be worked on is the Inclusive History Project. This position will assist with data collection, coding and analysis.

Required Qualifications*

  • Be a current undergraduate or alumnus at U-M Dearborn.
  • Experience with behavioral data collection and analysis.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to meet deadlines

Desired Qualifications*

  • Experience with qualitative research data collection
  • PEERRS certified in Human Subjects
  • Familiarity of the field African and African American Studies, preferred
