We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Editorial Assistant to support our continuing legal education programs. Responsibilities*
95% - Provide assistance to Director of Online Resources and Publications and staff attorneys in the development and maintenance of online resources:
- Perform light legal research and procure and sort data as assigned to support educational offerings
- Communicate effectively with and assist staff and volunteer lawyers
- Prepare comprehensive outlines of educational offerings for various programs
- Review and edit transcripts of educational offerings to ensure accuracy and clarity
- Prepare and maintain project spreadsheets to track progress, deadlines, and budget goals
5% - Assist with other clerical duties as assigned to support the department
Required Qualifications*
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university
- Pending applications to one or more ABA accredited law schools
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to carefully follow directions
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Desired Qualifications*
- Flexibility in work hours, generally 8:00a-5:00p Monday through Friday, with the possibility of working in 2-4 hour blocks of time at the ICLE office
