Job Summary
The department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) is searching for a Professor (or Associate Professor) with tenure. PM&R is searching for a genetic epidemiologist that works in genetics of cardiometabolic disorders, women's health, diabetes, and musculoskeletal disorders. Experience in biorepository core and BioVU (the biorepository at Vanderbilt) is preferred. This role will require teaching and mentorship of Epidemiology. The vision for the role is to work in these areas and collaborate with several departments across UM especially (but not limited to) in PM&R, Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Orthopaedics.
Required Qualifications*
The ideal candidate should have a doctoral degree in genetic epidemiology and multiple years experience as a faculty member. Candidate should have experience as a genetic epidemiologist that works in genetics of cardiometabolic disorders, women's health, diabetes, and musculoskeletal disorders.

Background Screening
