Job Summary
We seek a high-achieving individual who is thoughtful and analytical, with interests and experiences in health policy analysis. This is a paid, part-time internship offering flexible start and end dates, designed for students pursuing a PhD in Public Health who have completed at least one year of coursework in public policy or public health. The intern will focus on our Research and Evaluation team and play a pivotal role in projects that advance the mission of the Center for Health and Research Transformation (CHRT).
Responsibilities*
Create visual content for communications materials, including:
LinkedIn graphics and campaigns
Flyers, one-pagers, and basic reports
Event and project promotional materials
Support CHRT's LinkedIn presence, including visual assets, post formatting, and content planning
Assist with light writing and editing, such as social media copy or short website updates
Provide general communications and administrative support, including maintaining content calendars and organizing design files
Required Qualifications*
- Currently pursuing a PhD in public health
- Knowledge of key health policy issues
- Experience with health data sources, healthcare research, or analytic methodologies
- Demonstrated strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with survey methodology and data analysis
Desired Qualifications*
- Experience with Michigan Medicine systems
