Job Summary

The University of Michigan Shared Services Center (U-M SSC) is a customer service organization focused on providing user-friendly and cost-effective administrative services to the university community. The SSC offers financial and human resource transactional support.

Reporting to the Imaging Services Supervisor, you will use high-speed scanning stations to archive or process paper documents. You will prepare paper documents to go through a scanner, picking appropriate scanning profiles, scanning documents, manual data entry, quality assurance, and documentation.

The SSC maintains a strong focus on customer service with expectations for timely and accurate processing of requests. You will be working in a high-volume, transactional environment which requires a strong attention to detail. This position is expected to meet productivity & accuracy standards.

Work Location:

You are 100% on-site in Ann Arbor, MI

Responsibilities*

  • Maintain records, prepare forms, verify information, and resolve routine problems
  • Compile and create logs for relevant tracking and metrics 

Required Qualifications*

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience providing customer service
  • Intermediate-level proficiency with data entry
  • You will perform physical job tasks safely. This includes routinely moving up to 50 lbs
