Job Summary
The Department of Pathology at Michigan Medicine is seeking qualified candidates for an early to mid-career academic faculty position in Clinical Chemistry/Chemical Pathology (Assistant, Associate Professor (, ideal for forward-thinking clinical laboratorians eager to innovate and shape the future of lab medicine through data-driven and translational research. Current fellows are encouraged to apply, experienced candidates may be considered for Clinical Chemistry Director.
The position offers shared responsibilities within the Clinical Core Laboratory, focusing on Clinical Chemistry including automation. There are also opportunities to contribute to coagulation services. The new faculty member will participate in medical oversight of the laboratory as well as teaching to support the clinical and education missions. Candidates looking to join a collaborative team dedicated to advancing laboratory practice will thrive here. Required Qualifications*
Qualified candidates must have a PhD, MD, or DO and be board-eligible or certified by the ABCC or ABP. Current fellows are encouraged to apply; experienced candidates may be considered for Clinical Chemistry Director.

Background Screening
