Responsibilities*

  • Execute the daily PAR management plan including, but not limited to, interacting with a cross-functional team of clinical, operational, and support staff.
  • Lead department-wide initiatives related to product changes, collaborating with Transactional Purchasing, Item Maintenance, and Warehouse Operations. 
  • Organize and execute unit conversions to 2BIN and fixed bin Kanban systems, Intelli-Flip, and other projects in the department. 
  • Respond to customer and stakeholder feedback, concerns, and other requests.
  • Analyze data for the purpose of informing strategy and decision-making for inventory management activities.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement to streamline business operations.
  • Recommend strategies and procedural improvements based on supporting data and information as it relates to inventory management.
  • Facilitate, oversee, and assist with the building of clean room supply carts.

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Utilizes Microsoft business tools to complete tasks: Excel, Power Point, Word, and an electronic mail system (e.g., Outlook) in a network environment.
  • Utilizes strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and implement product changes and new product releases across a large organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or ERP systems.
  • Proactive, attentive to detail, works with initiative and a sense of urgency, and be able to overcome obstacles to meet schedule requirements.
  • Well-organized, able to establish priorities, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects and function with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work within a dedicated team to achieve shared goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with people in all disciplines and at all levels of an organization through process and data knowledge.
  • Demonstrated independent problem-solving abilities.
  • Completes work with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical ability to synthesize information across multiple data sources to make business decisions.
     

Desired Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years experience in inventory, distribution, and operational management.
  • Demonstrated ability to make and/or facilitate effective business and management decisions.
  • Supports the development and delivery of information and data using applicable media.
  • Ability to determine processes necessary to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Utilizes experience in Healthcare or other Industry Supply Chain Operations.
  • Is familiar with inventory management processes and can apply knowledge base.
     

Work Schedule

What will your schedule look like?

This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position. Your schedule will typically be on the dayshift, with flexibility on start time, Monday through Friday. Potential for scheduled meetings after hours and on the weekends that may require your attendance.

Work Locations

Across Michigan Medicine locations including Main Medical Campus and offsite South Industrial PAR Warehouse.

Modes of Work

Background Screening
