Job Summary

Michigan Medicine Department of Neurology is seeking a clinical instructor for its Advance Epilepsy training program

 

Your work plan will focus on the clinical and academic experiences necessary to gain proficiency in the subspecialty of epilepsy and will consist of:

  • 1 epilepsy and 1 general neurology clinic session per week (a clinic session is defined as 4 hours) when not on LTM service;

  • 1 epilepsy clinic session per week when on LTM service;

  • 4 months of LTM service between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026

  • 1 full day (minimum of 8 hours) of IOM service coverage per week when not on LTM service (designated as IOM2);

  • The rest of the time will include clinical research under neurology faculty mentorship.

Required Qualifications*

Candidates are required to be eligible for or hold Michigan State medical license and should have M.D. or equivalent degree.

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
