Job Summary
The University of Michigan Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a clinical physician to provide outpatient and inpatient general cardiology care and echocardiography services. Roles and responsibilities include:
- Clinical activities will comprise a majority of duties, assigned at University Hospital, Frankel Cardiovascular Center, or one of the Michigan Medicine off-site ambulatory locations or partner sites
- Inpatient service on the Cardiology service at the Ann Arbor medical campus, or its consult services
- Outpatient service at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center or one of the Michigan Medicine off-site ambulatory locations or partner sites
- Teaching fellows, House Officers, and medical students rotating through the programs of the division
- Active participation in divisional faculty meetings, grand rounds, research and clinical conferences, faculty forums, and appropriate committees
- Scholarly activity which can include clinical research

Required Qualifications*
We seek individuals with:
- M.D. or D.O. with board certification in Cardiovascular Medicine.
Eligibility for Michigan medical licensure.
- Distinguished record of clinical and teaching achievement and scholarly productivity.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in mentorship, education, and faculty development.
- Commitment to fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Academic rank will be determined by qualifications and experience.

This position is posted as Clinical Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Professor. The rank of the selected candidate will depend on qualifications.
Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
