Job Summary

As a member of the university Annual Giving Team, you will manage the administrative tasks of the Michigan Telefund student fundraising call center. This team is a department of the Office of University Development (OUD), and you will also oversee the administrative tasks of the broader university Annual Giving (UAG) team. You will work in an environment dedicated to advancing the mission of OUD and of the University, and in building positive and meaningful relationships with co-workers and members. You will report to the Senior Director, UAG with a dotted line to the Associate Director, Michigan Telefund.

Work Mode: In this hybrid position, you will work five days per week, with three days per week on site at Michigan Telefund and the opportunity to work two additional days per week remotely.

What You'll Do

  • Provide on-site administrative support for the Telefund physical office environment.
  • Receipt, review, and processing of office purchasing invoices for payment.
  • Print, prepare, and mail daily donor letters and answer, respond to, or route incoming phone calls.
  • Participate in project management and execution of important projects across the UAG team
  • Maintain documentation for all Telefund processes.
  • Manage UAG's intranet page, adding new content, and support Telefund's online and social media presence.
  • Work with the Human Resources and Finance Office to set up payroll, timesheets, work study allocations, and approving biweekly student payroll.
  • Manage Senior Director's calendar, including scheduling meetings.

Required Qualifications*

  • 3-4 years of experience in customer service or project management or a related bachelor's degree
  • Working knowledge of CRM data system use and management
  • Prior project management skills
  • Discretion when dealing with sensitive information and a focus on customer service
  • Committed to 3 days minimum on-site presence
