What You'll Do

  • Plan and conduct research experiments.
  • Help organize and manage the research laboratory.
  • Organize and analyze results of research experiments.
  • Prepare reports of completed projects and draft manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Required Qualifications*

  • PhD
  • 5 or more years of experience working in a research laboratory focused on chemical engineering, biomaterials, and cell biology
  • Demonstrated proficiency across a broad range of laboratory techniques, with particular emphasis on biomaterial synthesis
  • Experience in writing and editing research reports

Desired Qualifications*

  • DDS or Chemical Engineering degree
  • Evidence of published papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals

Modes of Work

Additional Information

We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for everyone. As part of the onboarding process, all candidates are required to submit their immunization records to Occupational Health Services (OHS) prior to their appointment start date to verify their immunization status. The process includes completing a two-step TB test for all new hires and providing proof of Hepatitis B immunization for clinic-facing roles. Additional immunizations may be necessary based on public health guidance or specific job responsibilities.

This is a full-time, 1-year term-limited position.
