Responsibilities*

Dr. Oral's research group in MEND is looking for a temporary clinical study assistant.

The incumbent will be helping to identify potential study participants, keep in contact with participants, help to create schedules for the study participants, obtaining informed consent after being trained, keep study documents, submit documents to the regulatory bodies after appropriate training and oversight

Incumbent will also assist with data management tasks: assisting to create and maintain study databases together with other study team members

Lastly, the incumbent will have administrative tasks such as creating project task bars for different studies and identifying team member roles, helping in paperwork processing for hiring of new team members and onboarding them, keeping team schedules, preparing agenda for team meetings, ordering supplies for the study team.

Required Qualifications*

A bachelor's degree, an interest in medicine, clinical or health research.

The desired candidate should feel comfortable approaching people to participate in health research projects.

The research assistant must be friendly and have people skills.

Technical competency in learning and using computer software is needed.

Willingness to undertake training in clinical research and maintain certification during assignments is important.

Modes of Work
