Job Summary

To conduct laboratory experiments within a CLIA certified lab. Experience in digital droplet PCR is required as well as demonstrated experience in record keeping and quality control. Some experiments will include the use in vitro models (cell culture, clonogenic cell survival assay, Western blot analysis, qPCR, immunohistochemistry and co-immunoprecipitation) and in vivo mouse models (animal handling including xenograft drug response and patient-derived xenograft models (surgery and drug response). Record notes, assess responses and prepare figures based on the data.

Required Qualifications*

  • BS in health science discipline.
  • Experience with PC computer software including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Maintains extensive and accurate records. 

Desired Qualifications*

  • Experience in cancer xenograft models.
