Job Summary
The Marsal Family School of Education launched a new, full asynchronous online degree in Fall 2025: the Master of Arts in Leading Educational Innovation and Transformation program, which requires instructors for several courses in its core curriculum.

This instructor position includes the following:
- Preparation assistance and delivery of online instruction for EDUCONL 503: Entrepreneurial Leadership
- Grading
- Weekly communication with students
- Holding virtual office hours
- Use of Canvas as web-based instructional tools
Required Qualifications*
- Familiarity with the scholarship and practice relevant for course content
- Previous online teaching experience
- Advanced degree in educational leadership or related field
Desired Qualifications*
- PhD or EdD in educational leadership or related field
- Experience with asynchronous online instruction
Course Description
EDUCONL 503 is designed to develop the entrepreneurial mindset and essential skills for leading innovation in educational settings. The course emphasizes the evolving landscape of education, with a focus on the methodologies of entrepreneurial leadership. Students will engage in critical analysis of risk management, creative problem-solving, and sustainable practices. Opportunity identification and resource mobilization are highlighted as key components for developing and implementing innovative initiatives.

Union Affiliation
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
