Job Summary
Kresge Hearing Research Institute is seeking a highly motivated individual for a full-time Research Postdoctoral position.
Responsibilities*
The person will perform research on hair cell regeneration and gene therapy for hearing loss using mice. The work will involve testing of hearing and balance in mouse models, and therefore will include handling mice, diverse treatments including noise exposure, drug treatments. The individual will perform functional tests (ABR, DPOAE, VsEP); histological tests (tissue dissections, immunostaining, imaging) and will generate reports of the results.
Required Qualifications*
Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, preferably with experience in animal research hearing and histologic testing.

Background Screening
