Job Summary

The Department of Dance seeks a Master Instructor in Congolese Dance to teach one course annually within the department's curriculum. The instructor will provide high-quality studio-based instruction in Congolese dance traditions and practices, fostering student engagement through technical training, cultural and historical context, and creative exploration.

Responsibilities*

Duties: Responsibilities include course preparation, instruction, assessment of student progress, and participation in departmental activities related to the course as appropriate.

Required Qualifications*

Qualifications: Candidates should demonstrate significant professional expertise and experience in Congolese dance forms, a strong commitment to teaching, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic and artistic environment.
