How to Apply
Core Duties:
Work on projects as member of Human Capital Management Team using enterprise HCM application, currently PeopleSoft, including PeopleTools Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, SQR, COBOL, and BI Publisher, and supporting the ongoing evolution and modernization of enterprise HCM platforms, including any future cloud-based solutions.
Specific duties: develop, implement, and maintain web and batch applications, reports, queries, and system integrations; lead projects, forecast required time and resources, provide status updates, and follow established standard and methodology; work with customers and business systems analysts to design solutions that meet the needs of the customer and university; coordinate and apply vendor-provided software patches and maintenance; provide production problem analysis and resolution, job scheduling, monitoring, performance tuning, and end-user support; demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the business and administrative processes; support and troubleshoot enterprise application security and access-related issues, including role-based security and data access across HCM platforms; design, support, and enhance system-to-system integrations to enable interoperability between enterprise HCM platforms and related systems, including during platform upgrades or transitions; and provide training, guidance, and assistance to staff to accomplish goals. Hybrid work from home with in-person meetings. Work from home permitted up to 90% of time.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related + 5 years of experience in enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) application development using PeopleSoft or comparable platforms, including: development and support of enterprise HCM or ERP platforms using vendor-supported tools and frameworks, including online and batch processing, reporting, and application extensions; design, support, and troubleshooting of system-to-system integrations using enterprise middleware, APIs, web services, or messaging frameworks across on-premises and cloud-based environments; and participation in at least one major enterprise application or platform upgrade or transition, including requirements analysis, retrofitting, testing, deployment support, and post-implementation support.
