Job Summary

The University of Michigan's Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level. We seek a scholar who studies either China or the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and are particularly interested in candidates who approach either of these geographic areas from a broader comparative politics or international relations perspective.

Required Qualifications*

This position is at the assistant professor rank and is a university year appointment. It is anticipated to begin August 25, 2027. Promise of excellence in research and teaching is required.
