Responsibilities*

Agreement and records data entry

  • perform data entry for non-commercialization agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs)

  • verify accuracy and completeness of agreement records against source documents

FOIA and compliance support

  • support processing of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, including gathering responsive records and tracking request status

  • conduct restricted party screenings for individuals and entities in accordance with university policy and applicable export control regulations

Data quality

  • assist with data quality review and data clean-up projects, including identifying discrepancies and standardizing records

  • support data migration and clean-up efforts as assigned

What You'll Do

Innovation Partnerships is looking for an attentive and detail-oriented Agreement Data Coordinator to support data entry and administrative functions across the office. This role involves entering and maintaining records for non-commercialization agreements, supporting Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request processing, conducting restricted party screenings, and assisting with data quality and clean-up projects. The position will require the ability to navigate the office's IP management and records systems. This is a part-time, remote, temporary role well suited to someone who enjoys precise, process-driven work and can manage recurring data entry and records tasks independently.

Required Qualifications*

  • High school education or equivalent and minimum of 1 year of experience in a related area or office

  • Advanced keyboard skills
  • High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information
  • Ability to take initiative and work effectively independently

Desired Qualifications*

  • Familiarity with technology transfer

  • Prior experience with non-disclosure agreements or material transfer agreements
  • Experience working in relational databases (Salesforce, Wellspring Sophia, or similar)

Additional Information

  • This is a temporary, remote position anticipated at approximately 10 hours per week.

  • Schedule is flexible within standard business hours, to be coordinated with the supervisor.
